Enhancer 15
« on: August 24, 2015, 10:06:42 am »
Hello,

I think the new results from Enhancer 15 looks more like an HDR Tool than an Enhancer :(
The old version 14 works better for me.

I have also tried to adjust all the Enhancer 15 settings to get the same results like in Enhancer 14
but there is no way to get a natural enhance look, the look always remind me to a HDR image.  :'(

...what are your experiences and what did you think about the Enhancer 15,
does your images also looks like a HDR photo?

Here I have made some samples:
- the 1st image is the original
- the 2nd image is Enhnacer 14, default preset
- the 3rd image is Enhancer 15, default preset

Hello,

I think the default settings simply don't suit this photo.
You need to play with settings to make your photo look more natural.
See my result below. I decreased Saturation, Gradient Contrast, and Level of Detail and then increased Threshold and Lightness.
What do you think about it?

Hi Lidia,

thank you for your fast response! :)

I had tried your parameters, they are better then my settings I did figure out
...but I think the cheek and the shoulder is to intense lighten.

If you want, try to get the default Enhancer 14 preset or any other Enhancer 14 preset arranged in Enhancer 15...
I do not get the Enhancer 14 default or any other Enhancer 14 preset arranged by Enhancer 15! :-\

...yes these comes close to the Enhance 14 default preset.
If you do compare the above dark area of the photos, you can see the Enhancer 14 is more rich black,
the Enhancer 15 is more greenish pale in dark detail.

Hi! You can try to increase Shadows in version 15.  As for the tones, you can adjust the Post-Processing settings in the standalone application.
