AKVIS Sketch Styles & Presets
« on: September 05, 2013, 05:37:35 am »
Here is an overview of some presets in AKVIS Sketch v.15:

Classic Sketch:

Classic style lets you create color and B&W drawings with well-defined contour lines.
A characteristic feature of this style is its accuracy: the image looks as if it was primarily created by contour lines with the addition of hatching. More...

Artistic Sketch:

Artistic style is designed to create expressive drawings that look like the handmade work of a real artist.
In this style, it is easy to create both a quick sketch and a carefully drawn and shaded pencil drawing.
The main advantage of this style is the ability to play with hatching and to vary the number of shadings and shadows to get natural tonal transitions.  More...

You can share your own presets! Use the special commands in the top panel to export the presets or just upload your drawings or screenshots.

I really like this preset (called "Lace.sketch" - in attachment). These small and fine strokes make the drawings look airy. :)

Hello
Sorry, I do not speak English, and certainly not above this, fortunately there is Google translator. There will be some mistakes, sorry, but rather that than:  Beste mensen van Akvis, tevreden van jullie mooie programma, daar begrijp je dus geen nota van  :-X  ..
So I made this drawing with AKVIS I then manually filled with color.
Thanks for being able to use your Akvis Sketch program, and will also buy it when it suits my bracket ;-)

Wow that looks excellent Roy, the added color really adds to it. I'm loving these akvis sketches. The look so realistic, almost like someone has drawn them by hand.

Having a gif that runs through the different options seems a good idea.

Maybe they be useful for you.I have been happy to find them, since they allow me to try different looks and usually give me a base to start from.

Hi Js06,
Here we discuss the Sketch presets, not Lightroom. Thank you though.
